Mikael L. Pelz

 

Mikael L. Pelz received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His research is in the areas of public policy, political behavior, and religiosity. He has recently completed studies on state education policy and the link between religiosity and public opinion among so-called millennial evangelicals. His work is forthcoming in the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and the Journal of School Choice, International Research, and Reform. Dr. Pelz is also a regular contributor to Capital Commentary, an online publication from the Center for Public Justice. He is currently a member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion and the Midwest Political Science Association.
