David C. Innes

 

David C. Innes is associate professor of politics and chairman of the Program in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at The King’s College in New York City.

His research interest has been the political philosophy of Francis Bacon, with articles in Interpretation (1993), Piety and Humanity (1997), and Civil Religion in Political Thought (2010). He has written on current politics in The Washington Times, American Thinker, The Daily Caller, and Worldmag.com and is author of The Voting Christian: Seeking Wisdom for the Ballot Box (2016) and co-author of Left, Right, and Christ: Evangelical Faith in Politics (2011).

He is also an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
