Christine Kim

Christine Kim studies the intersection of religion and politics in the U.S.  She also writes on religion and the family, poverty and welfare issues, and the social scientific data and research related to these topics.  She has published in the Journal of Women, Politics & Policy, Issues: Understanding Controversy and Society, CQ Researcher, Christianity Today, and National Review Online Currently, she is pursuing doctoral studies in political science at Georgetown University.  As a Leslie Whittington Scholar, Christine received a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown in 2005, with a concentration in education, social and family policy. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University in 2001.  Originally from Shanghai and the Midwest, she now lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two daughters.
